Going "Standard"

I have decided to change to a Standard member for a while. Sadly, I am just not getting any return on my monthly payment to HotMatch.com. I am here looking to meet fun, interesting people not just for a hook-up. I have met a couple who qualify and I will keep in touch with them outside of this site, but otherwise it is not giving me what I am looking for...

Long Time, No Fun

It's been a while since I posted - mainly because I have not had much to write about. I am in the middle of a hectic time at work, plus I have a member of my family who is seriously ill.
Not much fun...
Not much time for fun...
...but damn it, next week i am going to try and have some! 
I'll keep you posted on how I do.

We All Need Friends

I sent the text of my previous blog to a friend of mine (who isn't on HotMatch.com) since she is one of the people I mentioned in it.
She wrote back in the fabulous, upbeat fashion to which I am accustomed and asked if I had "had any luck with HotMatch.com"...
I wrote back explaining that this really is more of a lark for me than any serious need - plus I get to write honestly about sex in my blog there, something I never felt comfortable doing on Tribe or Myspace.
She also mentioned that things were not that great in her relationship but that she was trying to work at it and not give in - something for which I admire her greatly.
I also reminded her that it is at time like that that she needs to lean on her friends - just as I had done with her when I needed support.
Sometimes you need someone to vent to, someone to buy you a drink or a shoulder to cry on...or simply just someone to listen without prejudice - THAT is what friends are for.
Is there someone in your life that you haven't been in contact with in a while? Drop them a line.
They maybe in need of a friend.
